A true fairytale dress with the Bhutanese tego as the upper part.

Availability Skladem (5 pcs)
Category Tailor Made

This design is both elegant and exotic - Juniper & Jazz, inspired by the smell of juniper rising from Bhutanese monasteries and clearing in the valleys between the misty mountains. Its dignified elegance is spiced up with a pinch of bohemian decadence and through this dress you can almost hear the sounds of the saxophone from the only music bar in Thimphu…

Tradition and innovation. Sensuality and elegance. This dress with its dark colours plays with seeming opposites and transports its owner to the crossroads of Bhutanese past and future, to the point of perfect fusion.

The top is made of a black Bhutanese tego (the upper part of the traditional women’s attire) and fastens with parts of a hand-woven Bhutanese belt. The long skirt is made of satin and gives you two options: you can choose to be sexy and let your legs show, or pin the slit together and remain modestly elegant.

This dress is perfect for any occasion where you need to remain elegant but would also like to spice it up with something exotic and make an unforgettable impression.

Material: skirt - satin, tego - mix, belt - 100% cotton.

If you choose to have a dress of this design Tailor-made:

       1. You must buy a Bhutanese tego from our selection or, if it is unavailable at the moment, have us bring you one from Bhutan - which of course depends on when our next journey to Bhutan will be.
       2. Take your measurements and send them to us by email so that our seamstress can prepare the dress (we will email you the instructions of what measurements to take).
       3. Come at least once to the center of Prague to try the dress on.
       4. The dress will in any case not be ready in a week. The time it takes to make it depends on the availability of the material and how difficult it is to agree on a date to come and try the dress on.

The photograph of the design is merely illustrative. The same design cannot be reproduced.
